Zacatecas, Zac.- El Instituto de la Juventud del Estado de Zacatecas (Injuventud) presentó las convocatorias de Becas Transporte y Rescate de Espacio Joven 2020, con la finalidad de impulsar acciones que permitan atender las necesidades juveniles de diversos municipios.
Alejandrina Varela Luna, directora del Instituto de la Juventud, dijo que uno de los objetivos de las Beca Transporte, es contribuir y evitar la deserción escolar en los jóvenes, al otorgarles incentivos que les permitan continuar con su preparación académica.
Detalló que a través de este programa, Gobierno del Estado subsidia el traslado de jóvenes estudiantes desde sus lugares de origen a la zona donde está su institución educativa, a fin de puedan concluir con sus estudios.
Subrayó que en esta ocasión son 25 los municipios que se sumaron a convocatoria que pretende beneficiar a más de mil jóvenes originarios de Calera, Chalchihuites, Enrique Estrada, Guadalupe, Juan Aldama, Miguel Auza, Monte Escobedo, Pinos, Río Grande y Sombrerete.
Así como de Valparaíso, Villa de Cos, Villanueva, Apozol, Juchipila, Atolinga y Tepechitlán, Francisco R. Murguía, Jiménez del Teúl, Mazapil, Momax, Moyahua, Nochistlán, Noria de Ángeles, Santa María de la Paz y Tlaltenango.
Alejandrina Varela señaló que para este programa se tiene una bolsa de 3 millones de pesos, que se duplicarán gracias a la coinversión de los ayuntamientos participantes, lo que dará oportunidad a beneficiar a un número mayor de beneficiarios en comparación a años anteriores.
En lo que respecta al programa de Rescate de Espacio Joven, la funcionaria resalto que mediante él se han atendido más de 30 mil beneficiarios, con la rehabilitación, recuperación o equipamiento de espacios juveniles que se estaban en desuso o dañados.
Agregó que para esta convocatoria se cuenta con 3 millones de pesos para multiplicarlos, gracias a la mezcla de recursos con los municipios o instituciones educativas que deseen sumarse a este proyecto.
Alejandrina Varela agregó que para la convocatoria de becas transporte, se recibirán las solicitudes de los jóvenes hasta el día 13 de marzo, y para el caso del programa de Rescate de Espacio Joven, el límite será hasta el 31 de marzo.
