Derivado de un reporte ciudadano, en el que se dieron a conocer las necesidades y carencias en las que viven familias de la comunidad Rancho Los Méndez,el Sistema Estatal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (SEDIF) les entregó apoyos alimentarios, camas, colchones, ollas solares, filtros para agua, entre otros.
Por instrucciones del Gobernador Alejandro Tello y de Cristina Rodríguez de Tello, Presidenta Honorífica del Sistema Estatal DIF, personal de esta institución, con la coordinación de la delegada de esta instancia en la región 01, Diana Isela Valdez González, entregó los apoyos en esta comunidad ubicada en el municipio de Fresnillo.
Las ocho familias que viven en esa comunidad carecen de los servicios básicos de agua potable, luz eléctrica, drenaje y condiciones dignas de vivienda, por ello, Cristina Rodríguez indicó la colocación de una cisterna de captación de agua pluvial de 10 mil litros.
Así como filtros para potabilizar el agua, de manera que sirva para uso doméstico y sus principales necesidades. Asimismo, se buscara un área para la instalación de dos huertos familiares para que puedan sembrar y cosechar productos alimenticios para su consumo.
La titular del DIF estatal aseguró que para el Gobierno de Alejandro Tello es una prioridad atender las necesidades más apremiantes de las y los zacatecanos de todos los rincones de la entidad, en particular de la población en condiciones de vulnerabilidad.
Aseguró en ese sentido que continuarán las gestiones para mejorar la calidad de vida de las familias del Rancho Los Méndez, integradas principalmente por niñas, niños, mujeres y personas adultas mayores.
