Zacatecas, Zac.- Aspacia Kusulas Tejada, subdirectora de Epidemiología de la Secretaría de Salud de Zacatecas (SSZ), informó que concluyó la temporada invernal, que dio inicio el 16 de octubre del año pasado, con el estudio de 1 mil 15 casos sospechosos de los diferentes tipos de influenza, en la entidad.
De esta cifra, 167 casos fueron positivos; 75 correspondieron a H1N1, 66 a influenza B, 22 de AH3 y 4 a influenza A. El 56 por ciento de los casos positivos fueron mujeres, con 94 casos y el 44 por ciento fueron hombres, con 73 casos.
El mayor número se presentó en los municipios de Guadalupe, Zacatecas y Fresnillo, con 60, 43 y 23 respectivamente, que representan el 75 por ciento del total.
Respecto a defunciones, en la temporada señalada registraron nueve, de ellas, seis fueron mujeres y tres hombres. En ocho de estos casos, las personas no recibieron la vacuna.
Finalmente, la Subdirectora de Epidemiología recordó que las infecciones respiratorias agudas se presentan todo el año e invitó a toda la población a seguir cotidianamente todas las recomendaciones que ha emitido la Secretaría de Salud en la entidad.
