En el cierre de su gira por Zacatecas, el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador agradeció al gobernador Alejandro Tello Cristerna por su adhesión al Acuerdo Nacional por la Democracia,que tiene como fin hacer valer el sufragio efectivo y convertir en realidad un sistema de gobierno representativo, popular y verdaderamente democrático.
Al recordar que hoy es delito grave el uso de recursos públicos para favorecer a candidatos y partidos políticos, el primer mandatario subrayó la importancia de que sea el pueblo quien elija libremente a sus autoridades para cumplir con el ideal maderista del sufragio libre:
“Por eso hicimos esta convocatoria a los gobernadores y ya más de la mitad -hasta ahora- han expresado mediante escritos o con mensajes en redes sociales que se adhieren a este acuerdo en favor de la democracia, como es el caso de Zacatecas.”
Durante el cierre de su gira de trabajo por la entidad, el presidente hizo un recuento de las acciones del gobierno federal informadas en los municipios zacatecanos de Pinos, Morelos, Fresnillo, Jerez y el propio Tlaltenango.
Igualmente, enumeró los compromisos adquiridos con la entidad, donde destaca la conclusión de la segunda etapa de la Universidad para el Bienestar ‘Benito Juárez García’ sede Pinos; incluir a Zacatecas en la entrega gratuita de fertilizantes a partir del próximo año; y, especialmente, reforzar a la brevedad la presencia de las Fuerzas Armadas para garantizar la seguridad. Además:
“Hicimos el compromiso, y estamos empujando al elefante, para que pronto inicie la construcción de la autopista de Zacatecas a Aguascalientes; hice el compromiso y se va a cumplir.”
Agregó que el gobierno federal mantiene la implementación de los Programas de Bienestar como pensiones para personas adultas mayores y personas con discapacidad, becas para estudiantes de todos los niveles, precios de garantía para productores de granos básicos y leche, así como créditos para pequeñas empresas y recursos directos para campesinos y escuelas:
“De 54 escuelas, ya están recibiendo su presupuesto de manera directa 49 escuelas en Tlaltenango para mantenimiento. Se va a extender a todo Tlaltenango, a todo Zacatecas y no va a dejar de llegar el apoyo, no es una sola vez, sino ya es la manera en que vamos a darle mantenimiento a las 120 mil escuelas del país; ya estamos cerca de 60 mil escuelas tratadas de esta forma.”
Dijo al pueblo zacatecano que no faltarán las vacunas contra COVID-19 para todos y recordó que a más tardar en abril quedarán inmunizados los 15 millones de adultos mayores del país, ya que de esa forma disminuye 80 por ciento la mortalidad.
“El plan de vacunación es universal, es para todos y es gratuito, nada más es cosa de esperar el turno cuando nos toque, cuando nos corresponda.”
Por último, informó que la secretaria de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales, María Luisa Albores González, visitará Tlaltenango la próxima semana para atender inquietudes en torno a la construcción de un relleno sanitario en el municipio.
Durante la evaluación de Programas de Bienestar, la subsecretaria de Desarrollo Social y Humano de la Secretaría de Bienestar, Ariadna Montiel Reyes, informó que en marzo se pagarán anticipadamente dos bimestres a derechohabientes de pensiones, lo que implica inversión federal de 721 millones de pesos para 138 mil zacatecanos.
El presidente también estuvo acompañado por el gobernador Alejandro Tello Cristerna; el secretario de Bienestar, Javier May Rodríguez; el presidente de la Junta de Coordinación Política del Senado de la República, Ricardo Monreal Ávila; y el presidente municipal de Tlaltenango, Miguel Ángel Varela Pinedo.
