La Coordinación Estatal de Protección Civil entregó al Gobernador Alejandro Tello el Programa Especial de Protección Civil para la Temporada Invernal 2018-2019, a fin de que lo autorice y, posteriormente, sea puesto en marcha con el trabajo unido de los tres órdenes de gobierno.
Juan Antonio Caldera Alaniz, titular de la Coordinación, dijo que la instrucción del Jefe del Ejecutivo fue establecer estrategias que protejan el patrimonio y la integridad física de las personas, con todos los elementos materiales y humanos de las distintas dependencias, para atender, de manera pronta y expedita, las necesidades de la población durante dicha temporada.
Señaló que el Programa está basado en los lineamientos establecidos por el Sistema Nacional de Protección Civil y la Secretaría General de Gobierno; con base en los antecedentes de las temporadas invernales de los últimos años y así estar preparados para actuar ante cualquier contingencia.
El objetivo es disminuir los efectos destructivos de temperaturas extremas, heladas, granizadas y nevadas, a través de la comunicación oportuna y la coordinación eficiente de las instituciones que forman parte del Sistema Estatal de Protección Civil.
Esta acción busca dar a conocer a la población y a los representantes de las dependencias involucradas las medidas preventivas para esta temporada e identificar los factores de riesgo asociados a la época invernal.
Caldera Alaniz informó que, en caso necesario, instalarán 58 refugios temporales en coordinación con la Secretaría de Salud (SSZ), encargada de establecer la vigilancia epidemiológica y el control sanitario en los albergues.
Asimismo, en coordinación con la Comisión Nacional del Agua (Conagua), darán a conocer el desarrollo de los fenómenos meteorológicos y recomendarán a las y los alcaldes la instalación de centros de acopio de víveres, ropa, cobijas, para canalizarlos en las zonas marginadas de la entidad.
Finalmente, el funcionario recordó los teléfonos de emergencia que estarán disponibles las 24 horas del día, los siete días de la semana, para brindar información sobre la temporada invernal, estos son: (492) 922 09 11 y (492) 922 53 50.
