Fresnillo, Zac.- Para contribuir a garantizar la seguridad alimentaria de los jornaleros agrícolas localizados en la comunidad Río Florido, y debido a que por recomendación de las autoridades de salud no está abierto el comedor comunitario, el Sistema Estatal para el Desarrollo Integral de la Familia (SEDIF) entregó despensas para este sector considerado de alta vulnerabilidad.
 
En representación del Gobernador Alejandro Tello Cristerna y la Presidenta Honorífica del SEDIF, Cristina Rodríguez, el Director General, Omar Acuña Ávila, acudió a dicha comunidad para llevar los apoyos a las familias de los jornaleros.
 
En coordinación con la Coordinación Estatal de Planeación (Coepla), la Secretaría del Campo (Secampo) y el Banco de Alimentos en Fresnillo, les llevaron, además, productos perecederos como huevo, frutas y verduras, para que durante esta contingencia tengan la posibilidad de alimentarse saludablemente.
 
Acuña Ávila señaló que el mandatario estatal y la titular del SEDIF mantienen su compromiso de seguir apoyándolos y de no desprotegerlos, sino que desde las instituciones del Gobierno del Estado estarán atentos a sus necesidades.
 
Reiteró que el mandatario instruyó a que las autoridades estatales den respuesta a las solicitudes más apremiantes de la población. «Saben que cuentan con su gobierno y aquí estaremos para resolver la problemática que enfrentan», expresó.
 
Durante la entrega estuvieron presentes: Cristina Valadez, subdirectora de Alimentación y Desarrollo Comunitario del SEDIF; Armando Viramontes Navarro, director de Vinculación Institucional de Coepla; Alejandro Barrón Castruita, director de Grupos Vulnerables de Secampo; así como el delegado y el subdelegado de Río Florido, Juan Pablo Contreras y Cristian Méndez, respectivamente.
